First , they helped move a homeless woman and her daughter into a home away from death threats and into a caring community in North East Ontario. By doing this for us, we were able to provide:
- Washrooms for Travelers
- Layettes for Babies in need
- Tourist Information Centre
- Respite for Women and Children and Travellers
- After hours drop in Recreation Centre with cards, games,puzzles
- Food Bank
- Clothing Depot
- First Aid Station
- Indoor Picnic Area
- Education Centre and Skills Exchange
- Crafts and Sewing Centre
- Community Dinners
- Bible Studies and Sunday English Language Church Services
- Spiritual Counselling and Prayer
- Uplifting Library
- Free storage for people in need
- Indoor Greenhouse
- Home cooked Meals Delivered to Sick
- Emergency Transportation for bus connections and medications
- Telephone and Online Counselling
- Employment Counselling and Training

WHAT YOUR 2017 DONATIONS WILL DO:

- Non-profit B &B - we are listed at Air BNB - use our link help us help others
- More Food Stability Programs: Grocery Delivery Program, Community Kitchen, Grocery Swap, Indoor Community Garden, Food Delivery for Shut Ins
- After Hours Drop In and Shop Promoting Local Crafts and Businesses
- Fit Stop for truckers and travellers to reduce road collisions and reduce vehicle insurance rates
- Green initiatives for our building and our community to reduce our bills and our footprint
- Increase outreach to immigrants and refugees - language classes, temporary housing, resettlement assistance
- Community Arts Hive
- Research and recruiting people to refurbish a second building
- Expand Storage for People in need to include moving assistance, more storage, pet sitting
- Equipment Lending Centre - Medical Equipment, Home Maintenance Equipment, Toys
- Accessible Mail / Mail delivery services
